Ahmadiyya Amir Inaugurates New Pharmacy & Injection Room

The Amir of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat The Gambia recently inaugurated the new main pharmacy and Injection Room within the complex of the Ahmadiyya Hospital in Talinding.

The ceremony also witnessed the donation of a new Ambulance and Ultra Sound Machine to the Hospital by Humanity First in Germany.

In his inaugural statement marking the occasion, the Amir of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat in The Gambia Baba F. Trawally said besides Ahmadiyya Muslim’s obligatory duties to their creator, thus the main purpose of the Jamaat is to provide services to the humanity.

According to Amir Trawally, the services they provide include; building of Schools, Hospitals and Training Centers and also providing assistance to the poor and needy.

“It was through these services that Nusrat Jehan was created which led to the opening of this hospital here in Talinding and the main purpose of the hospital is to provide quality health service delivery to the Gambians and non-Gambians resident in the country,” Amir Trawally informed the gathering.

Amir Baba F. Trawally was however thankful to the Khalif Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad for his support and prayers to the hospital since the inception of the hospital for the past years.

He informed the Jamaat members that Khalif Hazrat Masroor is about to undertake a tour to the United States soon and is also to open a new modern hospital in Guatemala.”

Dr Hafiz Muhammad Asif, Chief Pharmacist at Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Hospital said: “The slogan of the hospital is to provide better health service for all and sundry regardless of one’s status.

Dr. Asif said the idea of creating the main pharmacy and Injection Room at Talinding Hospital is to give access to patients in purchasing their drugs in a much conducive and efficient manner.

According to Dr. Asif, the Ambulance is a modern one and is having all the facilities including Oxygen Temperature which can treat patients while the

Ultra Sound Machine is more advanced and digital and can conduct series of operations like soft tissue and abdominal operations.
