Kunting in Niani District of Central River Region North (CRR/N) gets new women garden project worth D1million through ARAFAT Construction Company and MOBETA Foundation as funding agent.
Speaking to our reporter at the project site in Kunting village the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) ARAFAT Construction Company, Lamin Yarbou informed that Kunting women garden project is the third project his company constructed since he started operation in 2016.
Quizzed as which areas his company is focusing, CEO Yarbou said his company is engaging in Construction, Costing and Evaluation adding that his company’s first project was at Cambridge Storage Facility and garage at Bereto village in North Bank Region, construction of office complex for NaNA at URR Health Directorates and Jenoi in Lower River Region. 3165103
According to Yarbou, Kunting women garden project has a measurement of 160X360 meters adding that it can take over 8, 000 beds while also stating that it has 1 borehole and 15 reservoirs with tapes.
“From 15 reservoirs I constructed, I gave out 6 to the villagers free which was not part of the contract agreement with MOBETA Foundation, because 9 reservoirs were the ones in the actual contract agreement, but I decided to add 6 reservoirs from my own cost,” Yarbou informed our reporter.
He informed our reporter that Kunting Women Garden Project is the first project for MOBETA Foundation adding his company’s aim is to reduce the unemployment rate in the country.
